Train returns to the BB&T Pavilion this summer for another round of incredible collaboration. The band will be showcasing some old school hits such as Drops Of Jupiter and Hey Soul Sister, and fans can also expect to hear fresh tracks from their new album, A Girl on a Boat, including their new hit single, Play That Song. Train will be joined by Brit female vocalist Natasha Bedingfield, best known her hit song Unwritten, as well as O.A.R American rock, jam band.

The band  previously played XPoNential in 2013 and 2012, and since then they’ve released two albums – 2015’s left-of-center rock set Star Wars and 2016’s contemplative collection Schmilco. Also headlining on July 28th are Conor Oberst, the acclaimed singer-songwriter behind Bright Eyes, and local favorites Hop Along.

13. United We Rock: Styx/REO Speedwagon with Don Felder at PNC Bank Arts Center

styxRock legends REO Speedwagon and Styx, along with very special guest star Don Felder -formerly of the Eagles – will join forces for the United We Rock U.S. summer tour, and the tour rolls into Holmdel on August 22nd. The bands have a rich touring and recording history together. In 2000, the bands recorded a live album and DVD called Arch Allies: Live at Riverport at Riverport Amphitheatre in Missouri. In 2009, the bands embarked on the Can’t Stop Rockin’ Tour and marked the occasion with a single, Can’t Stop Rockin’, co-written by Styx’s Tommy Shaw and REO Speedwagon’s Kevin Cronin. 2012 and 2013, REO Speedwagon and Styx hit the road together with the wildly successful The Midwest Rock ‘n Roll Express tour. Most recently, in January, Styx and Don Felder shared the Las Vegas stage for an unforgettable five-night limited engagement, Styx & Don Felder: Renegades In The Fast Lane, at The Venetian Theatre inside The Venetian Las Vegas. And, on the Rock Legends Cruise in February, Don Felder invited REO Speedwagon’s Dave Amato up for an amazing performance of Hotel California.
