The Nutcracker delights children in almost any form, but when the Roxey Ballet presents The Nutcracker, there’s even more to enchant young audiences. A cast of more than 150 dancers – made up of students, local performers, community leaders, and international artists – twirls across the stage, with more than 200 costume changes. These eye-popping tutus, military uniforms, and wooden pants come courtesy of Alicia Worden and Nilda Roxey, whose designs keep the show as magical as it is family-friendly. And audiences can expect another dose of magic, too, when Santa and his friends drop in for a visit.
