New Jersey Lighthouse Challenge

How many New Jersey lighthouses can you visit in one weekend? Hop in the car this weekend and find out while you take the annual New Jersey Lighthouse Challenge!

The Lighthouse Challenge of New Jersey is a two-day opportunity to visit 10 New Jersey lighthouses, one museum, and two life-saving stations. Purchase a Lighthouse Challenge of NJ souvenir for just $2 and present it at each stop along the challenge. Everyone who completes the challenge will be entered in a drawing for $1000 in prizes.

Lighthouses participating in the Lighthouse Challenge of NJ 2018 include Absecon, Barnegat, Cape May, East Point, Finn’s Point, Navesink Twin Lights, Sandy Hook, Sea Girt, Tucker’s Island, and Tinicum. The Barnegat Light Museum as well as lifesaving stations in Ocean City and Stone Harbor will also be participating in the challenge this year. Nighttime lighthouse climbs are being offered at Absecon, Cape May, and Tucker’s Island.
