See the annual old fashioned honey harvest at Howell Living History Farm this weekend! The “bee yard” will open for visits this Saturday, when the beekeeper removes the boxes that contain frames of honey.  Visitors who want a close-up view of the action – which involves “brushing” the bees off the frames – should avoid wearing perfume, cologne or hairspray.
