Celebrate George Washington’s birthday at Rockingham Historic Site with tours commemorating his 286th birthday. While Washington will only be present in spirit (and in the form of our wonderful life-sized mannequin in exactingly-recreated uniform on the second floor), visitors can learn about his life and times, before, during and after his famous careers. Test your knowledge about this American icon and learn what is fact and what is fiction. The tours will be concluded with the partaking of cakes and punch in the kitchen to complete the celebration.
