Lots of fun things to do this week in New Jersey as we head into November later this week! From one of the largest RV shows in New Jersey, to a 5K Fun Run that supports a great New Jersey organization, to a family-friendly multicultural celebration of El Diá de los Muertos – there’s something for everyone in New Jersey this week. Here are the top five picks for things to do in New Jersey this week…
1. Day of the Dead Celebration
301 N. Harrison Street

This annual Day of the Dead celebration will feature lots of fun things to do including listening to strolling mariachis, sugar skull decorating, Mexican paper flower making, face painting by Second Look Face Painting, and enjoying delicious Mexican dishes provided by The Taste of Mexico. Día de los Muertos has a beautiful tradition of honoring the lives of those who have passed away by bringing ofrenda to lay out for the dead on the alter. Ofrenda are items that the spirits of those who have passed will enjoy when they return to earth to visit their living family members and friends. Participants are invited to place their ofrenda on the alter beginning on November 1. Come and enjoy the day and learn about the traditions of this rich cultural holiday! This event is presented by The Arts Council of Princeton and the Princeton Shopping Center.
