The 23rd Annual Highlands Clam Fest features a 120-foot seafood court serving the freshest seafood from many of Highlands’ famous restaurants (as well as a land lubbers menu), a beer and wine garden, specialty vendors and crafters, live music, games and thrill rides, a clam-shucking competition, an all-you-can-eat clam contest, and more! Free admission & free parking!
New Jersey’s farm fair season kicks into high gear this month with two big fairs happening this week, including the granddaddy of all NJ fairs, The New Jersey State Fair & Sussex County Farm and Horse Show, as well as the Warren County Farmers’ Fair & Hot Air Balloon Festival.

The Cape May Craft Beer and Crab Festival is an all-day festival featuring local New Jersey and regional craft beers to wash down favorite summer foods … steamed crabs, pulled pork, crab cakes, shrimp, and hot dogs, as well as food from Gaiss’ Market, Crespella, Eat Well, Executive Catering, and Wahlburger. As if the great beer and delicious food weren’t enough, the day also features live music all day on an outdoor stage, an old-fashioned Victorian circus with jugglers and acrobats from the The Give & Take Jugglers Little Circus, and a crafts and collectibles show. Admission to the grounds is free. There will be a charge for food, beverages and some activities. Commemorative t-shirts will be available.

The New Jersey Fringe Festival is a three day festival featuring upwards of a dozen different cutting-edge productions playing around the city of Hammonton, encompassing theater, dance and more. This weekend-long event is also slated to have artists, food vendors, a beer garden, musicians and more lining the streets, and all shows are within walking distance of The Eagle Theatre. Jersey Fringe has teamed with 16 producing organizations to fill out the fest with an eclectic lineup of great entertainment, and your festival wristband gets you into all performances throughout this exciting weekend. The festival is recommended for those ages 13 and older. See website for schedule.

The 1st Annual Gathering in the Pines Arts and Music Festival features a wide variety of artists works of pottery, photography, jewelry, paintings and other mediums, as well as live music from eight bands each day and free art demonstrations and activities for all ages! Activities include a dunk tank, children’s activities and plenty of games for the adults!
