City of Water Day is a free, family-oriented, celebration of the world-class potential of the Hoboken waterfront and surrounding waterfront communities, and is the Gateway Region’s biggest harbor festival. Highlights of City of Water Day activities include free boat tours on all kinds of vessels, the Con Edison Cardboard Kayak Race, free rowing, kayaking, and paddle-boarding, and the Waterfront Activity Fair featuring children’s activities, science experiments, games, live music, delicious food, giveaways, and more.

3. Frenchtown’s 18th Annual Bastille Day Fete

Frenchtown’s Bastille Day Fete features all things classic French, and classic Frenchtown – classic cars, petanque, live music, walking tours, fashions shows, food, and art are just of a few reasons to come join in the celebration.
