1. Baymen’s Seafood & Music Festival

For nearly a quarter of a century, the Baymen’s Seafood & Music Festival has been a celebration of all things New Jersey. You’ll delight in the delicious Jersey fresh clams, crabs, scallops and shrimp from the finest local seafood purveyors paired with local craft beer and wine. Shop for gifts and souvenirs from unique vendors and crafters. Enjoy live music from local favorites Motts Creek Pickers and Lele Party (Saturday) and Gary Philips and Lele Party (Sunday). 2. 33rd Annual Whitesbog Blueberry Festival

June 25 & 26 , 2016

Admission: $10 per carload.

The Whitesbog Blueberry Festival is an annual New Jersey Pine Barrens tradition celebrating all things blueberry!!! It’s a day of fun things to do for visitors of all ages! Try some delicious blueberry dishes and other fantastic festival foods, listen to live country and bluegrass music, enjoy living history tours and wagon rides around Whitesbog Village, participate in the blueberry pie eating contest, do some blueberry picking, stroll and shop along crafters’ and artists’ row, hunt for the Jersey Devil, play traditional games, and more! 3. Beachstock 2016

Margate’s 5th Annual Beachstock is billed as “The Planet’s Biggest Beach Party” and it may very well be just that! This huge Jersey shore event is packed with fun things to do… live bands, family-friendly activities, fabulous food and a beer garden, paddleboarding races, a free surf clinic, kids’ games, treasure hunts, a beach volleyball tournament, and more!!! The day wraps up with a free movie (The Peanuts Movie) and bonfire on the beach at 8:30pm. No beach tags are required for Beachstock 2016!! Rain date: June 26th.

4. 7th Annual Rock, Ribs & Ridges Festival

June 25 & 26, 2016

The Rock, Ribs & Ridges Festival fires up the summer outdoor concert and grilling season with a full weekend of great music and mouthwatering barbecue.  The festival’s headliners include a “Who’s Who” in Southern rock as well as some of the biggest names in classic rock (Kansas, Jefferson Starship, The Outlaws, Stolen Rhodes, The Steppin’ Stones, Pure Prairie League, Farmer Phil Band, Artimus Pyle of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blues Traveler). Festival-goers will also enjoy two days of delicious barbecue served up by top regional chefs and award-winning competitive rib teams as well as an assortment of outstanding craft beer selections at this annual bash.  General Admission Tickets start at $45 for adults and $15 for children. 5. Terhune Orchards’ Firefly Festival

Enjoy an evening of music, nature, wagon rides, outdoor fun, and – of course – firefly hunting! Celebrate fireflies by making your own wings, bug boxes and antennae. Circus Place, New Jersey’s premier circus training facility, will showcase their Youth Circus Performance Troupe at Firefly Festival.  Watch the students perform aerials, acrobatics and juggling. Visitors can also participate in interactive workshops and learn to juggle, spin a plate, balance feathers, and walk a tight wire! Enjoy live music by Miss Amy and her Big Kids Band while you await the appearance of the fireflies. Wagon rides and pony rides through the farm and orchards will be available all evening. Food will be available at Pam’s Firefly Tent. The night’s menu will include hot dogs, grilled chicken, corn on the cob, apple cider, pie, donuts, and more! Everyone should wear their wings! Free admission – $5 charge for crafts activities.
