Moms get free admission to Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge trails on Mother’s Day (with a paid child’s admission)! The day’s programs include a scavenger hunt along the trails and a craft in the Nature Center from 12-4pm. Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge is open from 10-4pm on Mother’s Day.

Join the Arboretum’s Cora’s Conservation Corps teen volunteers as they guide you into the woods and lead you through the discoveries you can make as a Citizen Scientist. On this special Mother’s Day hike, learn all about Wildflowers! Please dress for the weather and be prepared for the outdoors. Hikes will last about 45 minutes. Hikes depart at 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm. Located at the base of the 7+ acre Mountainside Park, the Iris Gardens contain over 10,000 irises of approximately 1,500 varieties and produce over 100,000 blooms over the course of the season (May – June). When you see the arching slope of the garden beds, you’ll understand why Presby is often referred to as the “rainbow on the hill”.
