Fort Lee Annual Retreat Weekend Parade and Ceremony

Commemorate General George Washington’s retreat from Fort Lee with the Continental troops which took place in November of 1776. A parade will take place on Saturday, November 18th at 11:30 am beginning on Main Street, proceeding south on Parker Avenue, and ending at Monument Park where there will be a ceremony, wreath laying by the Fort Lee VFW and a musket salute by the Brigade of the American Revolution. Following the ceremony the Fort Lee Historical Society will offer hot cider and donuts to the public for free at the adjacent Fort Lee Museum.  Retreat Weekend will be observed throughout the weekend at Fort Lee Historic Park – click here for details.
