The annual Fort Lee Christmas tree lighting will take place on November 30th at the Jack Alter Fort Lee Community Center. Come celebrate the holiday season with your community! This festive event will feature holiday music, hot chocolate and refreshments, and many more surprises! Please bring a toy to donate to the Fort Lee PBA Toy Drive in support of local families in need and the USMC Toys for Tots (new toys and unwrapped). Rain date – December 1st.

The City of Garfield’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting will take place on November 27th. Come see the lighting of the Christmas tree, visit with Santa, and enjoy some festive holiday music and refreshments!

The Hasbrouck Heights Holiday Parade and Christmas Tree Lighting will take place on November 24th. The parade starts promptly at 7pm on the corner of Lawrence Avenue and Boulevard and continues up Boulevard to the circle. The Christmas Tree Lighting will take place at the end of the parade. Children are then invited to meet with Santa at TD Bank (109 Boulevard).

Fair Lawn Holiday Lighting

This special holiday event features the caroling of the Fair Lawn Girl and Boy Scouts and the arrival of Santa Claus to help with the official holiday lighting of the Municipal Building. All children will be able to see Santa and will receive candy canes or chocolate coins (bring your camera). In the event of inclement weather, Santa will still be inside the building to see children.

The annual Rutherford Holiday Parade and Christmas Tree Lighting will take place on November 25th. The parade will begins at the corner of Springfield and Union Avenues, and will end at Lincoln Park. Immediately following the parade, the annual Rutherford Christmas Tree Lighting will take place. From 4:00 – 8:00, enjoy a Holiday Village in Lincoln Park.
