2018 Atlantic City Air Show Set To Soar This Week!

Thunder Over The Boardwalk Returns This Wednesday

Get ready for Thunder Over The Boardwalk – the 2018 Atlantic City Air Show is set to soar back into America’s Favorite Playground this Wednesday!






Now celebrating its 16th year, the 2018 Atlantic City Air Show will feature the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds! Other confirmed acts for the 2018 show are the U. S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team, the GEICO Skytypers, Jim Beasley Jr.’s P51D Mustang demonstration, the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, US Coast Guard MH-65 Demonstration, multiple military and New Jersey State Police fly-bys, and some of the best aerobatic pilots in the country! This amazing air show is the largest FREE event on Atlantic City’s summer calendar, and the largest air show of its kind. It’s an awesome family-friendly event that is sure to thrill spectators of all ages!

The Atlantic City Air Show can be viewed from anywhere on Atlantic City’s beaches and boardwalk! Limited handicap viewing space will be available at Montpelier Avenue and Boardwalk Pavilion. Ocean-facing hotel rooms and outdoor venues will also have great views of the air show.

Some tips to help you make the most of the Atlantic City Air Show:
    • Bring – and use– plenty of sunscreen.
    • Wear light clothing in the hot weather.
    • Bring beach chairs, umbrellas, and anything else you need to stay comfortable on the beach.
    • Bring snacks and water to stay refreshed.
    • Bring sunglasses for optimal viewing of the show.
    • Bring cameras and binoculars – they’re great for capturing the air show action!
    • You can tune a radio to WPG Talk Radio 104.1FM or 1450AM to hear all of the commentary for the show.
    • Air Show parking is available at many parking garages and lots around Atlantic City. Additionally, parking and complimentary round-trip shuttle service to Brighton Park and the Atlantic City Boardwalk will be provided from the Borgata’s North Entrance beginning at 10:00am.





The 2018 Atlantic City Air Show begins at 11:15am on August 22nd. Get there early to find a great spot from which to watch the show!
